EA FC 27 Stadiums, Leagues and Clubs: What EA Has Confirmed

EA promises more than 140 stadiums and 35 leagues in FC 27. This guide separates confirmed authenticity totals from assumptions about individual grounds.

The official FC 27 authenticity numbers

EA says FC 27 includes more than 21,000 players from over 800 clubs and national teams, competing across more than 140 stadiums and 35 leagues. More than 300 football partners support that authenticity package. These are EA’s official headline totals, not a community estimate.

The totals are useful, but they do not prove that any specific stadium or competition is included. Licensing can apply to a league, club, broadcast package, player likeness or venue independently. A club’s appearance does not automatically guarantee its real stadium.

How to check whether a stadium is confirmed

Use EA’s authenticity page as the primary reference and look for named competitions, clubs and stadium groupings. Trailers can provide supporting visual evidence, but a brief background shot is weaker than a written roster. Store descriptions and platform screenshots may also change before release.

Community lists are useful discovery tools, not final authority. When two lists disagree, check their publication dates and whether they distinguish a generic venue from a licensed ground. This article deliberately avoids presenting a copied “complete list” that cannot be audited.

Why stadium counts can be confusing

A headline count may include real venues, generic stadiums, VOLTA-style or Grounds environments, and special presentation variants depending on EA’s methodology. The number can also change through title updates. That is why comparing one annual total with another does not by itself reveal which grounds were added or removed.

Naming rights introduce another complication. A stadium can appear under a competition-approved or generic name even when its architecture is recognizable. Search by both club and venue name before concluding it is absent.

Leagues, clubs and national teams

EA’s 35-plus league figure describes the breadth of licensed competition, while the 800-plus figure combines clubs and national teams. Career Mode users should care about more than the number: authentic promotion structures, continental qualification, presentation packages and transfer rules shape a long save.

Ultimate Team players experience licensing differently. A league’s player pool affects chemistry and SBC options, while authentic crests and kits affect club identity. Stadium authenticity is mainly presentation, but popular grounds can also become valuable customization items.

New stadiums and missing stadium rumors

Treat any unlisted “new stadium” claim as unconfirmed until EA or the rights holder names it. A renovated venue, promoted club or newly signed partnership creates a plausible case, but plausibility is not confirmation. Images from older games are also frequently reposted as supposed FC 27 evidence.

The same standard applies to removals. A venue missing from a trailer is not evidence that it has been cut. Confirmed licensing announcements, the final in-game selector and EA’s maintained authenticity materials are stronger signals.

What each mode gains from authenticity

In Career Mode, authentic stadiums make promotion, rivalry matches and continental nights feel distinct. In Kick-Off and online seasons, they support recognizable match presentation. In Ultimate Team, players can build an identity around kits, badges, tifos and stadium themes even when competitive camera settings reduce the visual differences.

FC 27 also introduces The Grounds as a social football space on supported current-generation platforms. It should not be confused with the traditional licensed-stadium count. One represents formal match authenticity; the other is a separate playground and social mode.

How this tracker will be updated

We will update the guide when EA publishes named additions, removals or a revised authenticity directory. Every update should preserve the difference between official confirmation and analysis. That makes the page less dramatic than a rumor roundup, but more useful when you want to know what will actually be in the game.

For squad research, our player pages organize current ratings by club, country and position. Those records remain a reference dataset until FC 27 player data is confirmed; they should not be read as proof of final FC 27 squads or ratings.

If you are checking one particular ground, save the official authenticity URL and revisit it after squad updates rather than relying on a static social post. We will date material revisions and link the source that changed. That audit trail is important for promoted clubs, renamed venues and partnerships announced close to launch.
